Holger Laser (born October 17, 1970 in Sindelfingen ) is a German television presenter , television reporter and stadium announcer .

In October 1990, Laser began a master’s degree in sport and mathematics at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . From 1993 to 1998 he completed a diploma course at the German Sport University Cologne .

In February 2001 he joined an internship at the television B.TV on. From 2002 to 2003, Laser completed his traineeship as a video journalist there . Then in February 2003 he became a moderator and editor at the television station, which has now been renamed BTV4U. His first television show, in which he was both cameraman, presenter and editor, became the editorial staff today - The BTV4U Daily-Doku-Soap , an improvised report series in which he accompanied the employees of the station in their daily work with the camera and interviewed. In May 2003, Laser was awarded second place in the volunteer category of the LfK Media Prize for a report that he had created as a trainee in B.TV's days by the Baden-Württemberg State Office for Communication . At BTV4U, together with Lothar Becker, he developed the interactive late-night chat program BTV4U chat_stream , for which he also worked behind the scenes as editor, chat master and director from June to September 2003. In summer 2003, he developed together with Lothar Becker and Thomas Numberger the interactive and improvised Morning Show BTV4U morning person , to December 2004, which he hosted from August 2003 almost continuously for 5 days per week. In May 2004, the program Morgenmuffel was awarded second place in the entertainment category with the LfK media prize.

After BTV4U was discontinued, Laser switched to L-TV as a video reporter in February 2005 , where he developed his own weekly sports program called fanblock , which he has been producing since then.

In 2007 Holger Laser worked for VfB Stuttgart as the face of the newly founded TV portal VfBtv. As a reporter, he has since reported on the club's games and training camps and conducted interviews with players and club officials. He was also responsible for moderating the annual season opening and other club events. In May 2008 he was awarded the LfK Media Prize for first place in the television / advertising and promotion category. In 2012, Laser took on the role of stadium announcer at VfB Stuttgart.

In May 2014, Laser ran for the Free Voters in the municipal council election in Dätzingen , but missed the number of votes required to enter the municipal council.

Since January 16, 2017, Holger Laser has hosted the weekly sports program “SportiF” on the Filstalwelle .
