The Hollister Peak is a 4,297 m high mountain peaks in the Ellsworth Mountains of the West Antarctic Ellsworthlands . It rises 1.9 km south of Mount Vinson in the center of the summit plateau of the Vinson massif .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the summit in 2006 after the US geologist and oceanographer Charles Davis Hollister (1936-1999), participant in the American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition (1966-1967), during which the first ascent of the Vinson massif and others Summit in the Sentinel Range succeeded.
