The Holzbach is a 1.1 km long orographically right tributary of the Lieser south of Rengen in Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

The stream rises in the Eifel about 1.3 km southwest of Rengen and about 1.7 km north of Daun at an altitude of 451  m above sea level. NN . Flowing to the east, the stream flows after a 1.1 km long path about 500 m south of Rengen at an altitude of 415  m above sea level. NN in the Lieser .

With a length of 1.3 km and a difference in altitude of about 36 m, the mean bed gradient is 27.7 ‰. The river drains the 59.7 hectare catchment area via Lieser, Moselle and Rhine to the North Sea .
