Felix Gebhard is a German musician and photographer.

Between 1994 and 2012 he ran the band Home of the Lame. He lives and works in Berlin.

After a few albums on cassette and CD-R, the 4-track EP Home of the Lame was released in 2003 , which is now completely out of stock. In 2005 the first regular album Here, of All Places was released on the label Grand Hotel van Cleef . On November 3, 2006 Felix Gebhard released the EP Habitat , which contains five acoustic songs. In the course of this release he went on tour for 16 concerts with the Swedish musician Mats Bengtsson , who accompanied him on the keyboard and the accordion . At his concerts in 2006 Gebhard was occasionally accompanied by a band consisting of Alex Böll ( electric bass ), Kai Oldenbüttel ( drums ) and Kai Bewersdorf ( guitar , keyboard ). Since July 2007 the line-up consisted of Böll (bass), Ingo Schröder (guitar), Christian Hake (drums). Since March 2008 the band has also been supported by Marcus Schneider (keyboard). On February 1, 2008, Sing What You Know, the band's second album, was released, also by Grand Hotel van Cleef. On September 21, 2012, Home of the Lames last EP The Tree Museum was released on the band's own label Lametunes.

Gebhard was a member of the fictional Hansen Band , founded together with Jürgen Vogel , Marcus Wiebusch ( Kettcar ), Thees Uhlmann ( Tomte ) and Max Schröder ( Olli Schulz and the dog Marie and Tomte) for the semi-documentary film No songs about love .

In 2009 he released his first solo EP Exit Felix Gebhard . With the sound carriers released since the end of Home of the Lame, Gebhard turns to more experimental music.

Gebhard has been a tour keyboardist at Einstürzende Neubauten since 2014 .
