Honesty 69 was a dance project by German producers Willi Grossmann and Thomas Gesell, who had a hit with French Kiss in 1989 . The keyboard player and remixer Ramon Zenker (born November 11, 1968 in Willich ) worked on this project.
Life
Ramon Zenker was in New York in the summer of 1989 with producers Thomas Gesell and Willi Grossmann . There they heard the song French Kiss by Lil 'Louis in the discos . When they couldn't buy it later in Germany, they decided to cover it . As Honesty 69, the duo had a top 10 hit in Germany , Austria and Switzerland with their version . The American original sold even better in these countries.
Later Honesty 69 singles did not hit the charts. With the techno band Interactive , Ramon Zenker and Marc Innocent were able to land more hits from 1992 onwards.
