The Hongqi H7 is an upper mid-range sedan from the Hongqi brand belonging to the Chinese automobile manufacturer China FAW Group . It is the successor to the Hongqi HQ3 built between 2006 and 2010 .
history
The H7 was shown to the public for the first time at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2012, and the vehicle has been officially sold since the end of May 2013. Hongqi sold the first 500 vehicles to the Chinese government before sales began.
At the Beijing Motor Show 2016, Hongqi presented a revised version of the H7. A plug-in hybrid version was also presented.
