Honor Funk
Honor Funk (born June 27, 1930 in Börrat ) is a German CDU politician .
Funk is a farmer by profession and has a degree in agricultural engineering . From 1962 to 1989 he was a local councilor in Gutenzell-Hürbel and from 1969 to 1994 a member of the district council of the Biberach district . On October 16, 1981 he replaced the deceased Albert Burger in the German Bundestag . Re-election in 1983 failed, but Funk was able to move up again to the Bundestag on October 14, 1985. This time for the late MP Haimo George . Re-election in 1987 failed again and Funk moved up to the Bundestag for the third time on May 20, 1988 for the resigned MP Karl Miltner . After being elected to the European Parliament, Funk left the Bundestag prematurely on August 24, 1989 and was then a member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 1999 . In 2000 Honor Funk was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit .
