criticism

The e-zine Laut.de rated Hood Billionaire with three out of a possible five points. From the point of view of the editor David Maurer, Ross was entertaining " in typical silliness partially [...] at the usual level ", but had to be careful " that he does not splurge himself into sleep at some point ". For example, Quintessential is lame and contains a contribution by Snoop Dogg that is not only boring but even annoying. In spite of this, Ross' album “ ultimately offers too many highlights not to drag the listener into the 'Maybach Empire' again and again. “Big KRIT emphasizes his talent as a producer and guest singer on Brimstone , with which he can be located“ somewhere between Outkast and Devin The Dude ”. Jay-Z, Boosie Badazz, Yo Gotti and Project Pat are also recognized for their contributions. Ross himself sounds “ completely unimpressed, relaxed and arrogant. “In summary, the time between the publication of Mastermind and Hood Billionaire was too short.
