criticism

The e-zine Laut.de rated God Forgives, I Don't with three out of a possible five points. From the perspective of an editor Dani Fromm album like THAT CONDITION " an infinite loop, MTV Cribs ' ". Ross has long since moved miles away from " the reality of life on the street ", which becomes particularly clear in the play 3 Kings , in which Ross, Jay-Z and Dr. Dre " insistently assert that they belong to a class ", from which they " all dignifiedly outgrown ". In contrast to the rapper's lyrics, the productions of the songs are praised. The beats for Pirates , 3 Kings and Maybach Music IV as well as the productions of JUSTICE League are rated positively. In contrast, Hold Me Back and Ice Cold aretotal production failures ”. The guest contributions by R'n'B singers Ne-Yo, Omarion, Usher, Drake and Elijah Blake dilute from the perspective of Fromm's God Forgives, I Don't . With the exception of Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, the contributions of the guest rappers are "more exciting ". Despite the sometimes negative criticism, Laut.de selected the album at the end of 2012 on position 25 of their list of the "25 best hip hop albums of 2012".
