Teflon Don is the fourth music album by the American rapper Rick Ross . It was released on July 20, 2010 on Ross' label Maybach Music Group as well as on Slip-n-Slide Records and Def Jam Recordings . Teflon Don was able to reach number 2 on the US album charts. The songs Super High , BMF (Blowin 'Money Fast) and Aston Martin Music were released as singles .

The German hip-hop magazine Juice dealt with Teflon Don in its “Battle of the Ear” section, in which polarizing sound carriers are discussed. As part of this review, the album was given two ratings, five and a half out of a possible six and three and a half out of a possible six “crowns.” In the positive review, Teflon Don is characterized as “ gang blues as a full-length format, Mafiasoul in HD ”. Rick Ross describes life as it should be but never is. In addition, the beats of the album are praised. In the second review, pieces like Tears of Joy are praised as “ terrific ” and Live fast, and the young as “ unbelievably great ”, but the fan still doesn't get the result that he wants. Above all, the editor misses the coherence and " quality control " that Ross enforced on his first three albums. With Teflon Don you can only complain at a high level, but the fourth album is out of breath.

Teflon Don sold 176,000 times in the United States in its first week. This put Rick Ross in second place on the Billboard 200 charts, behind rapper Eminem , who sold 187,000 copies of his album Recovery in the same week . After his first three albums reached number 1 on the album charts, Teflon Don is the first album by Rick Ross that was not placed at the highest position in the United States. In the Canadian charts, Teflon Don rose to number 17 on the album chart .

The first single Super High was able to occupy position 100 in the singles charts. BMF (Blowin 'Money Fast) reached number 60 on the US singles chart. The most successful single is Aston Martin Music , which rose to 33rd place in the charts.
