Horace de Callias
Horace de Callias (born September 8, 1847 in Paris ; † March 5, 1921 there ) was a French genre and nude painter .
Callias studied at the École des beaux-arts de Paris and with Alexandre Cabanel . He showed his works from 1870 to 1891 at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français and later at the Salon of the Société nationale des beaux-arts .
He painted genre pictures from Parisian life as well as mostly mythological female nudes.
