Horst Dörrbecker
Horst Dörrbecker (born June 2, 1941 ) is a German table tennis player who took part in the 1959 World Cup.
Career
At the end of the 1950s, Horst Dörrbecker was among the top German table tennis players. Together with his brother Horst, he began his career at the North Hessian club Jahn Treysa . In 1958 he became the Hessian youth champion. After an interlude in the 1962/63 season at Jahn Kassel , he returned to Jahn Treysa.
In 1959 he took part in the individual competitions of the world championship , where he failed in the singles in the qualifying round and was eliminated in doubles with Horst Thein in the second round against the Austrians Karl Wegrath / Hans Zankl .
