Horst Drescher (writer)
Horst Drescher (born January 2, 1929 in Olbersdorf near Zittau ; † September 22, 2019 in Leipzig , Probstheida) was a German writer .
biography
Horst Drescher lived in the GDR and received the Lion Feuchtwanger Prize from the Berlin Academy of the Arts in 1990 . He was a member of the PEN Center Germany , received the 1991 Literature Prize of the City of Meißen and was accepted into the Saxon Academy of the Arts in 1996 .
Horst Drescher lived and worked in Leipzig .
