Horst Flosbach
Horst Flosbach ( Horst Franz Flosbach; born June 18, 1936 in Hückeswagen ) is a former German long-distance runner .
Life
At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, he finished eighth in the 5000 m in 14: 06.6 hours after winning his prelim in 14: 08.4 minutes.
In 1961 he was German cross-country champion and in 1964 German champion over 10,000 m .
Horst Flosbach started for the Solingen LC until 1963 , then for KSV Hessen Kassel . Until his retirement in 1999, he worked as a qualified textile engineer at Bayer AG . Horst Flosbach lives in the Upper Bergisch town of Wipperfürth .
