Horst Hagemann

Horst Hagemann (born November 18, 1924 in Breslau ) is a former German politician ( SED ). He was Lord Mayor of Greifswald .

Life

Hagemann worked in the administration of Ludwigslust after the war ended in 1945 . In 1949 he became a member of the SED. From 1950 Hagemann was an employee of the Rostock City Council, at times city councilor and department head. From 1955 to 1960 he completed a distance learning course at the Berlin School of Economics , which he completed with a degree in economics. From 1966 to 1973 he was Deputy Mayor of Rostock, 1973 as Mayor and from January 1, 1974 to January 4, 1984 as Lord Mayor of Greifswald. He was also a member of the secretariat of the Greifswald SED district leadership.
