Horst Kollat

Horst Kollat (born November 9, 1925 in Berlin ; † July 24, 2004 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Kollat ​​attended a grammar school, which he graduated with the " Reifevermerk ". After the Second World War he studied history and German at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 1957 to 1963 he was a high school teacher and teacher .

In 1955 Kollat ​​became a member of the SPD. In the Berlin election in 1963 , he was elected to the district assembly in the Wedding district. After only six months he was elected to the district councilor for public education in Wedding, which he held until 1969. When he was elected to the House of Representatives in 1975 , Kollat ​​was elected to parliament for the first time. In the following election in 1979 he was able to win the direct mandate in the Reinickendorf 3 constituency . In 1985 he left parliament.
