Horst Räcke

Horst Räcke (* December 8, 1934 , † June 22, 2007 ) was a German painter , graphic artist and book illustrator .

Live and act

Horst Räcke lived and worked in Leipzig . He was one of the most famous Christian visual artists in the GDR. The majority of his works were created for the Evangelical Church and Evangelical book publishers. He was best known for his illustrations for his picture Bible. Horst Räcke was a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR .
