Horst Scheiblich

Horst Scheiblich (born August 18, 1921 in Berlin ; † June 3, 1993 ) was a German politician ( LDP , FDP , CDU ).

Horst Scheiblich attended a secondary school in Berlin-Köpenick and in 1939 became a candidate for inspector at the Reich Insurance Institute for Salaried Employees . In 1941 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht and was finally an administrative officer.

After the Second World War , Scheiblich joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDP) in 1945 and the Free German Trade Union Federation (FDGB) in 1948 , but a short time later he switched to the Independent Trade Union Opposition (UGO). From 1948 he worked in the district office of Wilmersdorf . Scheiblich now joined the German Employees' Union (DAG), and finally in 1950 the Komba union in the German Association of Officials (DBB). After he left the FDP in 1957, he joined the CDU in 1960.

In the 1971 Berlin election , Scheiblich was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, but in June 1972 he resigned from parliament because he was elected district councilor for health care by the district council in the Schöneberg district. In 1978 he resigned as a district councilor.
