Horst Schlehofer

Horst Schlehofer (born January 19, 1955 in Bochum ) is a German lawyer and professor at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf .

Life

In 1973 Schlehofer began studying law at the Ruhr University in Bochum . For the time of the basic military service he interrupted it for 18 months and completed it in 1980 with the first state examination in law. In 1984 he received his doctorate in Bochum with a paper on the subject of "Consent and Consent".

In 1993/94 he was a professor at the University of Rostock . In 1994 he completed his habilitation at the Ruhr University in Bochum with a thesis on “Intentional intent and deviating from the offense”. He was then appointed as a university lecturer. After taking over professorship at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , TU Dresden and Universität Potsdam , he has been a professor at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf since 1996 .

From 2002 to 2004 he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dean from 2004 to 2006 and since April 1999 Schlehofer has been Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Law at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
