By the next owner, the locksmith Bartlmä Falk, the house was enlarged in 1463 against the Fron or women's garden. After many other changes of ownership, Caspar Veichtner was mentioned as the first host in 1596 . In the town chronicle of 1671 the name Wirtshaus zum Güldenen Hirschen appears for the first time , later also called Hirschlwirt . In 1857, Wolfgang Dekert opened a restaurant on the Herbert-von-Karajan Platz side, which still exists today under the name of Restaurant s'Herzl . Ludwig Ritter von Maffei owned the Golden Deer from 1873.
After further changes of ownership, the company was sold to Emanuel and Harriet Walderdorff in 1939. Franz and Anna Bernauer were the tenants from 1940 until after the Second World War. In 1947 the building was stylishly modernized under the direction of the builder Hilda Crozzoli . From 1948 Harriet Walderdorff (daughter of the painter John Quincy Adams ) managed the hotel. The brewery came to an end in 1865, followed by a clothes cleaning and dyeing factory, a strap maker and a confectioner. On April 25, 1945, the house was damaged by a bomb attack. After it was sold to Carl Adolf Vogel, it was incorporated into the Golden Deer.
