history

The side wing of the property on Untere Markstraße 7, which was demolished around 1907, was originally at the location of today's property at Ludwigstraße 7.

Today's three-storey property was built between 1907 and 1908 and initially housed the Hotel Krosse . It was built by the Würzburg architect Anton Eckert in Art Nouveau style as a plastered mansard roof with a dwarf in the middle and a polygonal bay window on the sides. The Baroque Art Nouveau is expressed in the symmetrically laid out facade with a raised central section. The property is an example of urban Art Nouveau, which replaced the Biedermeier in Bad Kissingen at the time of its creation .

Today the property houses apartments and an ice cream parlor.
