House vs Hurricane is a rock band from Melbourne , founded in 2006 , which disbanded in 2013 and reformed three years later. The group played a musical mix of metalcore , post-hardcore , progressive rock and ambient .

history

The group released a demo, an EP and two studio albums. The last album, Crooked Teeth , which was released in 2012, reached number 20 in the Australian charts .

The group toured with bands such as The Amity Affliction , The Devil Wears Prada , Bullet for My Valentine , Parkway Drive and played at the Soundwave Festival in their musical career .

The final line-up of the group consisted of Dan Casey ( vocals ), Ryan McLerie (vocals, rhythm guitar ), Christopher Shaw ( lead guitar ), Dylan Stark ( electric bass ) and Sam Osborne ( drums ).

The group reformed in 2016 and announced they would perform at the 2017 Unify Gathering. A week before this gig, the band released Give It Up, their first song in five years.
