The Hrubý potok is a left tributary of the Velička in the Czech Republic .

geography

The Hrubý potok rises on the western slope of the Šibenický vrch ( 707  m ) in the White Carpathians . Its source is located south of Nová Lhota , about a kilometer from the border with Slovakia . On its course in a westerly direction, it forms the deeply cut Filipovské údolí valley . The Liščí Bouda forester's house and the Filipov holiday village are located there. The lower reaches of the Hrubý potok runs northwest through Javorník , where it finally flows into the Velička.

The Hrubý potok has a length of 7.1 km, its catchment area is 14.3 km².
