Hryhoriy Komar
Hryhorij Komar ( Ukrainian Григорій Комар ; born June 19, 1976 in Letnya , Ukrainian SSR ) is auxiliary bishop in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic eparchy Sambir-Drohobych .
Life
On April 22, 2001, Hryhorij Komar received the sacrament of ordination for the Sambir-Drohobych eparchy.
The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Catholic Church elected him auxiliary bishop of the Sambir-Drohobych eparchy. On June 25, 2014, Pope Francis confirmed the election and appointed him titular bishop of Acci . He was ordained bishop on August 22nd of the same year by the Grand Archbishop of Kiev-Halych , Svyatoslaw Shevchuk . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Lemberg , Ihor Wosnjak CSsR , and the Bishop of Sambir-Drohobych, Jarosław Pryriz CSsR.
