Huang Xiaoxiao

Huang Xiaoxiao ( Chinese  黄 潇潇 , Pinyin Huáng Xiāoxiāo ; born March 3, 1983 ) is a Chinese athlete who won the Asian Championships twice in the 400-meter hurdles .

After finishing 7th in the 400-meter run at the 2003 Universiade in Daegu , she won silver on the hurdles course. In 56.10 seconds she only had to admit defeat to the German Maren Schott . A month later, she won gold in the hurdles course in Manila in 55.66 seconds. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , she was eliminated in the semifinals.

The following year she reached the final of a worldwide championship for the first time when she was fifth in 54.57 seconds at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 . A month later she won the Asian Championships in Incheon in 55.63 seconds, successfully defending her title. She was also successful at the Asian Games in Doha in 2006, winning in 55.41 seconds. At the 2007 World Cup in Osaka , she improved her personal best in the semifinals to 54.00 seconds. In the final, she ran 54.15 seconds and finished fifth like two years earlier.

At a height of 1.81 m, her competition weight is 62 kg.
