Hubert Bleicher

Hubert Bleicher is a German mountaineer .

Life

Hubert Bleicher took part in several expeditions in the Karakoram , Himalayas and Pamir from 1974 onwards , including important first ascents and first ascents. His first major success was the first ascent of the 7,611 meter high Shispare in the Pakistani Karakoram together with a German-Polish expedition team.

• Shispare 7611 m (Karakorum, Pakistan), first ascent on July 21, 1974 together with Leszek Cichy, Marek Grochowski, Jan Holnicki-Szulc, Andrzej Mlynarczyk, Jacek Poreba and Herbert Oberhofer .
• Batura Sar 7795 m (Karakorum, Pakistan), first ascent on June 30, 1976 together with Herbert Oberhofer. (Göppingen Himalaya-Karakoram Expedition 1976)
• Pik Korschenewskaja 7105 m (Pamir, Tajikistan) ascent 1981, together with Ralph Stöhr, Ulrich Calmbach and Fritz Sommer (leader of the Pamir expedition of the DAV section Swabia)
• Peak Communism 7495 m (Pamir, Tajikistan) attempted ascent 1981, demolition after an avalanche destroyed a high camp at 5900 m (SAS Pamir Expedition 1981)
• Rakaposhi 7793 m (Karakorum, Pakistan), 1987 attempt to climb a new route, Bleicher is the expedition leader.
• Sani Pakush 6885 m (Karakoram, Pakistan, Batura Muztagh) 1991 expedition leader
