The Sani Pakush (also Soni Pokush or Sani Pakkush ) is a mountain in the northwest of the Karakoram Mountains .
location
The Sani Pakush is centrally located in the Batura Muztagh in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan . The mountain has a pyramidal shape and reaches a height of 6951 m (according to other information 6885 m ). It is located in the western part of the so-called "Batura Wall", which extends south of the Batura Glacier . 4.15 km east-southeast is the 6882 m high Beka Brakai Chhok .
Ascent history
A German expedition over the northwest ridge was able to climb the Sani Pakush in 1991. On July 29th, Arnfried Braun, Daniel Ketterer, Leo Klimmer and Hubert Bleicher reached the summit.
