Hubert Joseph Pauly

Hubert Joseph Pauly (born August 24, 1781 in Eller , † March 8, 1854 in Cochem ) was a German businessman and member of parliament .

Life

Hubert Joseph Pauly was a son of Peter Bartholomäus Pauly (1744–1795) and his wife Maria Elisabetha geb. Friederichs (1753–1786) from Eller on the Moselle. The Pauly family in Sankt Aldegund always provided the courtiers (lat .: purpuratus ) for the Stuben monastery , the clerk and also occupied the second position at the local village court.

In the period from 1839 to 1851 Pauly was deputy for the Rhenish provincial parliaments for the constituency of Mayen (with Cochem and Zell (Mosel) ). From 1841 to 1845 he was still deputy member of the Rhenish provincial parliament. Here he represented the 3rd stand for the electoral districts Simmern / Hunsrück , Stromberg (Hunsrück) , Trarbach , Zell (Mosel), Ahrweiler , Sinzig and Remagen . During the German Revolution of 1848/1849 he stood up for the Democrats in Cochem . In January 1849 he became a member of the electoral committee and in February 1849 he was elected elector for the Prussian chamber elections.
