Hubert Obendorfer
Hubert Obendorfer (born January 29, 1965 in Schwandorf ) is a chef and hotelier.
Life
After completing his apprenticeship as a chef, he moved to the Black Forest in Munich, the Hilton Mainz and the Krebs restaurant in Regensburg. He also passed the master chef examination. His last position before starting his own business was as deputy head chef at the Hotel Rafael Munich (today Hotel Mandarin Oriental ).
In August 1997 he opened his own country hotel Birkenhof near Neunburg vorm Wald (district Hofenstetten ). The hotel with a wide view of the Upper Palatinate Lake District has been continuously expanded since then.
Since 2008 his restaurant Obendorfers Eisvogel has been awarded one star in the Michelin Guide . The second Michelin star was added in 2020.
At Radio Charivari Regensburg , Obendorfer gave cooking tips in over 150 cooking programs.
