Hubert Sickinger

Hubert Sickinger (* 1965 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian political scientist .

After completing his law studies (Mag. And Dr. iur.) And Political Science (Mag. And Dr. phil., Supervisor: Anton Pelinka ) at the University of Innsbruck , Sickinger worked at the Institute for Conflict Research in Vienna between 1994 and 2015 . Since 2001 he has been lecturing regularly at the University of Vienna .

His current work and research focus is primarily in the areas of party research, party financing and political corruption . Sickinger is a founding member of Transparency International Austria and vice president of its advisory board .
