Hugh Darrington

Hugh Darrington (born September 30, 1940 in Bishop's Stortford , Hertfordshire ) is a British science fiction writer.

Life

Darrington is the son of the headmaster Richard Darrington and Vera Darrington, nee De Wilde. He married Ann Gordon in 1962, with whom he has a son. He has worked as a reporter and editor for various household and market magazines and since 1970 as an editor for several specialist magazines in the fields of food technology and brewing , namely Brewers' Guardian , Food Manufacture and International Food Ingredients . He is also the author of several specialist books in these areas.

In the 1970s he published two science fiction novels that were also translated into German.
