Wulf H. Bergner

Wulf Helmut Bergner (also called Wulf Bergner ) is a German translator and editor. With around 500 translated titles (as of 2020), he is one of the most productive German translators.

After studying in Munich , which Bergner completed in 1965 with the state examination for translators and interpreters , he began translating science fiction for the publishers Heyne and Moewig in 1964 . In addition to his science fiction translations, Bergner also translated horror (for example Stephen King's The Dark Tower ), crime novels and non-fiction books. After Charlotte Winheller and Walter Ernsting, he was also the editor and translator of volumes 15 to 42 of the Heyne Verlag anthology series The Best Stories from The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction .
