Francis Paul Wilson (born May 17, 1946 in Jersey City , New Jersey ) is an American writer of science fiction and horror novels .

Life

Wilson studied medicine at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and is now a practicing physician. His first novel was Healer (dt. The healer ) (1976). Wilson's best-known fictional character is the anti-hero "Repairman Jack" (German name: "Handyman Jack").

In addition to horror novels, Wilson also writes medical thrillers; He is also a big fan of HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu myth and has written a few stories based on this myth himself.
