Hughes Winborne

Hughes Winborne is an American film editor .

Winborne graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in history in 1975 . He attended a film course at New York University and discovered film editing for himself.

In his career so far, he has edited more than 30 films. The best known are The Pursuit of Happiness (2006), The Great Debaters (2007), Seven Lives (2008) and LA Crash (2004), for which he received a 2006 British Academy Film Award nomination and an Oscar for best Cut was awarded.
