The Bistum Tete ( lat. : Dioecesis Tetiensis ) is in Mozambique preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Tete .

history

The diocese of Tete was on May 6, 1962 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Quae verba from cessions of territory of the diocese of Beira . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Beira as a suffragan .
