Xai-Xai, Mozambique

The diocese Xai-Xai ( lat . : Dioecesis Xai-Xaiensis ) in Mozambique is a Roman Catholic diocese based in the city of Xai-Xai .

It was established on July 19, 1970 as the Diocese of João Belo and changed its name to Xai-Xai on October 1, 1976. It is subordinate to the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Maputo as a suffragan .
