Inácio Saure

Inácio Saure IMC (born March 2, 1960 in Balama , Cabo Delgado Province ) is a Mozambican religious and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Nampula .

Life

Inácio Saure joined the religious order of Consolata Missionaries on January 7, 1995 , made profession on May 15, 1998 and was ordained a priest on December 8, 1998 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Tete on April 12, 2011 . The bishop of Xai-Xai , Lucio Andrice Muandula , donated him episcopal ordination on May 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Francisco Chimoio OFMCap , Archbishop of Maputo , and Francisco Lerma Martínez IMC, Bishop of Gurué . The inauguration in the diocese of Tete took place on June 5th of the same year.

On April 11, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Nampula. The inauguration took place on June 11 of the same year.
