Hugo Hauser

Hugo Hauser (* 18th August 1911 in Offenburg ; † 9. June 1980 in Sasbach ) was a Baden judges and politicians of the CDU .

Life and work

Hauser was of the Roman Catholic faith and a brother of Heidelberg theology professor Richard Hauser, who was 8½ years his junior . After school and studying law, he was hired as a court assessor in 1940, but was drafted into military service that same year. Until 1945 he took part in the Second World War. He then worked again in the judicial service. Most recently he was chief magistrate.

Hauser was a Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem . He was born on 14. May 1977 in Berlin by Franz Cardinal Hengsbach in the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem invested .

Political party

Hauser had been a member of the CDU since 1947.

MP

Hauser was a member of the German Bundestag from March 11, 1960, when he replaced the late MP Hermann Lindrath , until 1976 and represented the Rastatt constituency there . From 1969 to 1972 he was chairman of the permanent subcommittee for matters relating to the library, archives and other documentation (pursuant to Section 6 (4) GO) of the Bundestag's council of elders. From 1972 to 1976 Hauser was chairman of the electoral committee according to Section 6 (2) of the law on the Federal Constitutional Court .
