Hugo Schultz (District Administrator)
Hugo Schultz (born August 13, 1835 ; † March 26, 1905 in Potsdam ) was a German administrative officer who worked as the Prussian district president in Hildesheim (1882-1899) and district administrator .
Life
Schultz received his doctorate at the philosophical faculty of the University of Gießen in 1857. In 1858 he was employed as a government referendar in the district government of Königsberg and in 1861 as a government assessor in the district government of Gumbinnen . In 1864 Schultz was appointed district administrator for the Memel district. In 1868 he moved to the district of Poznan as acting district administrator . In 1869 he became the District Chief in Lehe appointed. From 1875 Schultz worked as police chief in Danzig . From 1882 to 1899 he was President of the District of Hildesheim in office.
From 1866 to 1870 Schultz was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
