The Humann Point is a cape on the Brabant Island in the Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . Together with Fleming Point 7 km northeast, it marks the mouth of the Rush Glacier in Dallmann Bay and the north side of the entrance to Duperré Bay alone .
It was mapped during the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Charcot . Charcot named the cape after the French Vice Admiral Edgar Humann (1838–1914), Chief of Staff of the French Navy from 1894 to 1895.
