Humberto Buchelli (born July 27, 1919 in Uruguay ) is a former Argentine-Uruguayan football player on the position of a striker and later football coach.

Life

Buchelli first played for the Brazilian club Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In 1946, the native Uruguayan, who had two nationalities due to his ancestors from Buenos Aires , joined Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and scored four goals in twelve missions. He later moved to the Portuguese league , where he played for Belenenses Lisbon , where he also worked as a coach for the first time following his active career. For ten years he worked as a coach at a total of six Portuguese clubs before settling in Mexico , where he had to accept relegation from the top division at the end of the 1964/65 season with the CD Nacional Guadalajara . He also trained the CA Morelia and in the 1970/71 season the UANL Tigres .
