The Humpfert Tower , officially the Carl Hassel Tower , in the Letmathe district of the city of Iserlohn in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia, is a 10 meter high observation tower built on the Humpfert in 1908 .

To finance the tower, a bazaar was organized, which brought in about 2000 marks. In addition, donations were made by the Letmathe department of the Sauerland Mountain Association (SGV), the Hohenlimburg Office and Letmath companies.

The tower was built in steel frame construction and inaugurated on June 21, 1908. The manufacturer Carl Hassel, chairman and founding member of the Letmathe SGV department, had been very committed to building the tower. Since 1941, the building has therefore been officially called the Carl Hassel Tower . Due to rust damage, the tower was renovated in 2011 and again painted blue.

A 13 m high wooden observation tower built in 1891 was destroyed by a storm in the winter of 1891/92. The second tower, built in 1892, had to be demolished in 1907 because it had become dilapidated.
