Hyacinth Malachow by Malachowski
Hyacinth Malachow von Malachowski (* 1712 ; † April 17, 1745 in Brieg ) was a Prussian colonel and chief of Hussar Regiment No. 3 .
Life
Lieutenant General Paul Joseph Malachow von Malachowski was his brother.
Until 1741 he served in the regiment of the Marshal of Saxony , which was in French service. In 1741 he changed to the Prussian service as a colonel and joined the hussar regiment no. 3. When its previous chief Friedrich Asmus von Bandemer was dismissed in 1741, Malachowski was given the regiment. During the Second Silesian War he was shot by a Prussian hussar on April 12, 1745 in a battle near Groß-Strelitz. He was taken to Brieg, where he succumbed to his injuries.
