ICC Champions Trophy 2013
The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy was a one-day international cricket tournament that took place in England and Wales between June 6 and 23, 2013. In the final, India beat hosts England with 5 runs.
prehistory
Originally, this should be the last event of the Champions Trophy, as the competition was to be replaced by the ICC World Test Championship . This decision was only revised in 2014.

The eight teams were divided into 2 groups of 4 teams each. The two best in the group qualify for the semi-finals. The draw and the schedule were announced on August 21, 2012.
