IIHF Centennial All-Star Team
The IIHF Centennial All-Star Team is a selection made in May 2008 by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF of the six best ice hockey players of the 20th century on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the IIHF.
Voting procedure
A committee consisting of 56 ice hockey experts from 16 countries, including the editors of the specialist magazine The Hockey News as one expert vote, voted by April 2008 which players should be included in the All-Star team. Vyacheslav Fetissov , a defender named by all but two experts, received the most votes .

- Goalkeeper: Vladislav Tretyak ( USSR ) - 30 votes.
- First defender: Vyacheslav Fetisov ( USSR ) - 54 votes
- Second defender: Börje Salming ( Sweden ) - 17 votes
- First winger: Valery Kharlamov ( USSR ) - 21 votes
- Second winger: Sergei Makarov ( USSR ) - 18 votes
- Center: Wayne Gretzky ( Canada ) - 38 votes
