The International Institute for Empirical Social Economy (INIFES) is a socio-economic institute in Stadtbergen / Leitershofen .

history

The institute was founded in the legal form of a non-profit GmbH in 1975 in Stadtbergen / Leitershofen near Augsburg in Bavaria . Martin Pfaff and Anita Bose-Pfaff are responsible for the management, Ernst Kistler is the director .

tasks

The task of the institute is set out in the statutes as follows: "The institute has the task of supporting the practice of economic and social policy through new findings from interdisciplinary research."

financing

The institute is financed exclusively through research contracts from ministries , authorities , counties and municipalities , national and international organizations , associations and foundations .

Publications

The institute is involved in the "Report of the State Government on the Social Situation in Bavaria" and in the "Good Employment Biographies" project of the Hans Böckler Foundation .
