Sultan Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya

Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya (born October 27, 1937 in Foumban ) has ruled the Bamum people in Cameroon since 1992 as the Sultan of Foumban and Fon of the Kingdom of Bamum . Ibrahim Mbombo Njyoya is the son of Seidu Njimoluh Njoya .

Life

Between 1970 and 1974 Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya was ambassador for Cameroon in Equatorial Guinea , then in the same capacity in Egypt . After 1980 he held several ministerial offices in Cameroon, most recently that of Foreign Minister. After his father's death, he was enthroned as Sultan and King of Bamoun on August 10, 1992.
