Ida Barber
Ida Barber , b. von Punitzer (born July 19, 1842 in Berlin ; † 1931 ) was a German writer . She also wrote under the pseudonym Ida and Ivan Baranow .
Life
Barber married in 1873 and moved to Leipzig , where she founded the Leipzig Housewives Association in 1876. She headed him until 1880 and moved to Vienna that year . In Vienna she founded the holiday colonies, in 1885 the student support association and finally in 1886 the association of Viennese writers and artists.
From 1880 Barber worked for various magazines, including Pester Lloyd , the Hamburger Correspondent and Oesterreichs Illustrirte Zeitung , and worked for several years as an editor of the Vienna Bazaar . Among other things, she wrote on fashion topics. She lived in Purkersdorf near Vienna in 1898 and died in 1931.
