Ignác Udvardy

Ignác Ödön Udvardy (born August 8, 1877 in Egersee ; † April 1, 1961 ibid) was a Hungarian painter who was close to post-impressionism and modernism .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1894, he studied from 1896 to 1900 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest under Bertalan Székely , from whom he was very much appreciated, Pál Szinyei Merse , Róbert Nádler and Ede Balla .
