Ignace Baguibassa Sambar-Talkena (born March 31, 1935 in Baga , Togo , † February 3, 2013 in Lomé ) was Bishop of Kara .

Life

Ignace Baguibassa Sambar-Talkena was ordained a priest on June 30, 1963 .

Pope . John Paul II appointed him on 30 November 1996 Bishop of Kara and donated him on 6 January 1997 in St. Peter's Basilica , the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re and Miroslav Marusyn . On January 7, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request for health reasons.

For many years he was president of the Episcopal Commission for Catholic Education in the Bishops' Conference of Togo.
